Working collaboratively with his tax exempt organization clients, Mr. Weil advises leadership, management and staff on a variety of legal and business related matters, including non-profit corporate formation and the maintenance of corporate status, corporate governance, bylaw drafting and review, duties and responsibilities of exempt organization officers and directors, employment related matters, including employee handbooks, policies and procedures, drafting and review of executive and consulting contracts, vendor contract review and negotiation, commercial leases, antitrust compliance, trade, service and certification mark registration, development and operation of certification and accreditation programs, exempt organization tax issues, insurance and risk management.
In addition to his work with exempt organizations, Mr. Weil works with a number of small businesses on general legal and business matters, including contract drafting and review, employment practices and procedures, business insurance, risk management and lease negotiations.
